Still Trying to Decide- Two 12"s 1 15" or 2 15"s

Hey guys sorry to post yet another one of these topics but i really need some help finilizing my decision. Im gonna get either a 1000 or 1500 hifonics poweramp and need to decide on my subs.
Im leaning towards one 15" Brahma cause they're supposed to be good sql and spl.
But, im wondering if two 12" shivas would be better..
also there is a kicker dealer in town and i was looking at an L7 or maybe two or Maybe 2 L5s.

What do you all think?

get what you want.. seriously, it's just bass.. they will both be loud

two drivers generally require more power and more room.. however two 12's vs. one 15 won't have too much of a difference in volume required (but it will still be there).

Just get what you want. I'm a big fan of one 10" subwoofer myself.. in other words, I tend to like having one driver, and kicking *** with it.

I think I'll go with the brahma. I went to a local place today and they tried to sell me 2 diamond 12s 500 watt for 699 which i though was really expensive.

Will going with one speaker and a 1000 watt amp be a good combo?
The brahma can handle and pu tout a lot of power, like more than two of other brands combined.

My final question is weather to go with a 10, a 12, or a 15. I think having a 15 would be cool, and a 10 seems too small so i guess a 12 is in the middle.

If you were getting this set up would you rather get a 12 or 15. what are the pros and cons of each? Thanks guys, i really really appreciate the helpful people on this forum.

one Brahma is 1600-watts RMS I do believe and since you've seemingly made your mind up as to what amp you shall get then getting the Brahma seems like a no-brainer.

You're setup is going to get ridiculously loud and the XBL^2 motor on the Brahma fits SQ applications fairly well...given a well-built box.

WRONG WRONG WRONG. Give the brahma < 1000 watts so you don't break it. Also put it in a ported box.

well to comment on that ripoff they tried to sell u on the diamonds, if they were the Cm3s which im sure they were u can get 2 12s for around 210 + shipping from etronics so 699 my ***

thanks for the replies- yeah i figured that deal was crap. they tried to sell me a 300 watt kicker amp and 1 12" diamond for 800 one time before.

Anyway- i called Adire today and the guy was EXTREMELY helpfull. He said 1000 would be plenty and theres a 2 week backorder. They're supposed to call me before they charge my card. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.
