    Re: mount subwoofer box down

Do you want it their for good, well at least not comming out with out tools, or do you want it easily removable. How nice do you want it to look. I had carpet spikes on mine. Like the ones for home speakers, they woorked nice. I have seen people mount bars across the trunk to keep the box from sliding. Seen stuff as cheap as duck tape or just a stick wedged between the end of the trunk and the box.

velcro works ok to keep from sliding but not a great theft preventor.

    Re: mount subwoofer box down

id also like some ideas. i put small pieces of wood to make my box level and used velcro to stick it 2 the floor and the wood. i also used l brackets in front so the box wont tip over. however, my box has already bent an lbracket and moved it. i could only drill into the carpet so m not surprised it happened. my carpet moves so much. any ideas?
