Not really, 2 cubes is about average for a 12. The tune is a low to provide sq and good low end extension, so it will give you a good amount of "bump." The power handling on those are under rated too. Its a 2 inch coil with decent cooling so I'd say you can run upwards of 500rms unclipped to them. I ran 375 to mine when I had them and they didnt break a sweat.

True, you can get the VVX-12s for around $130 each if you know where to buy from
From where? Every site I've gone to has them listed at 189.99. Are you sure you're looking at the VVX and not the IVX? The IVX is $130 on SSA and woofersetc, whereas the VVX is $189, and as far as I know, those are the only 2 online retailers, unless you buy directly from Skar.
Yes, directly from Skar
If you buy them with the custom box it is the same price they have listed. The custom box costs them around $100, and 2 12's is $260, so $360 for the box combo. Though, they did raise the price up to $390
Most people I've heard from directly ordered their VVX12s (without the custom box deal) for $130 shipped.
I am not sure if this has been discussed, but in my opinion, you should run that amp at 1 ohm and just set your gains for 600 watts. Not sure about subs in that price range though lol.

I would. But the infinity subs dont have either dual 2 ohm or 2 ohm subs. Siighhhhhhhh. I am thinking of looking at other 1 ohm stable subs around the same RMS wattage. But then again, the dB difference between 600-750 watts, would be almost not be noticabal. So I'm thinking of just doing the Infinity subs at the 600 watts RMS with the ASPM-1300.
