If choosing to spend my limited free time with my kids over learning the intricacies of subwoofer box design, and building one makes me a worthless non-contributor who doesn't deserve to have a nice system to listen to for my 2 hours I spend on the road each day, then so be it.
Youre just a worthless non contributor to this forum as far as I'm concerned.
I have no problem with you having and enjoying a nice system. Car audio is obviously not your big passion in life. It shouldn't be.....you have kids.
And I also work a 10 hour a day job, own a house, built a 900 square foot deck (the correct way with some big fuckin footers) this summer, and have tons of work I do on my house. But I still build my own systems.....because car audio is my thing and not just something I pay to have and listen to.
Re: myths about sub sizes
Besides...I have more rewarding **** to spend my time doing. ;) I'm into cars, period. Mainly racing. Audio is just one part of the huge picture. I steal enough time away as it is.

What's wrong with being a worthless non-contributor? If there weren't people here who were new to the game or less-knowledgeable, it'd be a form full of jackwads circle-jerking each other off. I may be new here, but I'm in no way new to forums, whose intent is to discuss things and help others out.
I'm glad that audio is your thing and you have the time for and enjoy it. It's just a small part of the picture for me and many others. I prefer to spend the time working on going faster.
Re: myths about sub sizes
I just thought of something.....why don't you sell those 3 pieces of **** and buy one decent car.

I've thought about it. But then I wouldn't have any fun. I enjoy it.
What do *you* consider decent anyways?
Surely I must have something in my driveway/garage you would enjoy!!! LMAO. If you're insinuating I need a Lexus/Mercedes/BMW/Infinity/etc...no thanks. I prefer my fun ****.
I have enough **** to keep my hands busy without impressing you building boxes.

I drive pieces of **** until they die. But I'm not a car guy. But still wouldn't be caught in any of those cars in your pics hahaha
Currently it's a 99 Dakota. Need a truck to haul **** around for the house.

LMAO...WTF then! How are you dogging my ****! Looks like my '97 Ram could have a new home. :)
I used to drive pieces of **** til they died too...but I got left stranded on the side of the highway a few times too many driving through various states. Now with the kids, it just ain't worth it. So, now the wife and I both have something reliable, and I still have the toys to screw with.

1990 Camry 4-banger was one of my favorites. :D Hell of a beater. Bought it for $400, drove it a year, sold it for $150 with a few problems I didn't feel like dicking with.

Hell yes! I knew there was a good quality about you in there somewhere. :) I just finished lifting it last year. Pain in the F'ing A in the driveway in December at night.
Everyone loves pics.
