I just received my Boston G3 12 inch dual coil subwoofer, and what I was expecting (because of what all the wiring diagrams show) was 2 sets of input terminals (+ and -, and another + and - on the other side.) What I found was that there is only 1 set. I bought myself an amp that can power it sufficiently at 2 ohms (since it's a dual coil 4 ohm sub), and now I have no idea how to wire it.
I was expecting and was ready for this: Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams, One 4 ohm Dual Voice Coil (DVC) Speaker
But I got a sub that looks like this: Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams, One 4 ohm Single Voice Coil (SVC) Speaker
If I simply wire it up pos to pos neg to neg from my amp that puts out the correct wattage at 2 ohms, will it all work out? Or is there some special wiring setup I need to use.
Any help is very appreciated! Please help me figure this out!
