Dual coil subwoofers that only have 1 set of input terminals?

I just received my Boston G3 12 inch dual coil subwoofer, and what I was expecting (because of what all the wiring diagrams show) was 2 sets of input terminals (+ and -, and another + and - on the other side.) What I found was that there is only 1 set. I bought myself an amp that can power it sufficiently at 2 ohms (since it's a dual coil 4 ohm sub), and now I have no idea how to wire it.

If I simply wire it up pos to pos neg to neg from my amp that puts out the correct wattage at 2 ohms, will it all work out? Or is there some special wiring setup I need to use.

Any help is very appreciated! Please help me figure this out!

if the sub is a single 4ohm then thats ur only option is a 4ohm load

It's not a single coil 4 ohm, it's double (it even says double on the sub itself). It only has 1 + and 1 - though so that was my question

does it have a fuse thing on it to were u can choose the ohm load on one side? most of bostons subs come prewired at the lowest impedence a d4 is wire to 2and a d2 is wire to 1 but they acn be changed by simply moving the fuse on the terminal. even rockford has went to this on the t series to clean up wiring on inverted installs

1 pos terminal and 1 neg terminal means subs is a single voice coil idc what the box says. U sure there is no switch or some crap like that to change the indo? I have seen this on some subs.

THIS ^^ Should have fusing option next to the terminals.

You were exactly right, it's a dual 4 ohm coil sub and came set with it's fuses lined up for a 2-ohm operation.

not normally but it is something that couldve been easily answered by the manual,though im not sure most of the brands people run on here even come with a manual.

So does anyone have an idea on how I would hook 2 of these up to a mono amp? Like maybe a 1 ohm amp load, I can either set the fuses to 2 ohms or 8 ohms for the individual subs, but if I'm wiring up a bunch together which do I need?

set them both to two ohm then run both positive and both negative together to the amp. basically twist both positive together to make one and the same for the negative
