I am thinking of getting a pioneer champion pro series sub.A 12 its 3500max and 1500rms.Id be running it off of a massive db2000.1.Would this be a good choice in a good box.How would it compare to 2 type r 12's that I already have?

If its 2 against 2, id go with the pioneers. I have one and it sounds amazing. Also, its 1000 watts rms, not 1500.

I dont think it can. I gave mine around 1300 watts of clean power, and the coil started to give off a smell. So for a long period of time, im sure itll ending up killing that sub. lol

In the right box, they sound amazing. Ive heard them in many types of boxes. They love the lower tuning.
