What is a nice amount of power a fosgate Punch hx2 can hold SAFELY?

400w-600w I have done some expiramenting. Anything more and you run the risk of cooking it with constant playing. Any less and it begs for more

Thanks for the reply. Helped alot, i didnt want to send to much power and burn them like my dad burns eggs. lol, dont ask me but he done it before. Anyways, since you said you have done some experimenting which type of box would you prefer. Me and my friend has been arguing. he say ported and i say sealed. Its my ****, so im going ith sealed, but want your opinion

To me they sound better in sealed enclosures. The big thing with ported is it will get louder around the tuned frequency. But a sealed enclosure will have a broader response curve.
