iDMax vs FI Q

As someone with first hand experience with both I would have to say you won't hear much of a difference in sound quality between the two but the q definitely has the ability to get louder. Both subs sound great and have an amazing low end in 2.5 cubes tuned to 30 Hz. The idmax is noticeably more efficient while the q can handle quite a bit more power. I'd go with the q because it sounds just as good and will get louder. Not to mention if you are buying new the q is cheaper.

I love it. It was my dream car for a while, after 4 yrs I finally bought one. after the few mods I've done to the engine it has some balls for a 1.8 liter and as long as I'm in 6th gear it's good for a little over 30 mpg. i'd say you need one lol

Fi q is the superior driver like I said before. I still think the idmax is able to get louder

all of you are so pathetic. first of all, T/S specs are NOT accurate. and second of all, its all about the install. to the audible ear with the same power, you are not going to hear a difference in "clarity".

I agree. I had a Q and it wasn't all its hyped up to be IMO. Given it was an 18, it needed tons of power to do anything. Then when it got the power it blew up. Guess that's why all I hear about is Fi recones. By no means is it bad sounding, just not reliable. I have some old school w6s that wont quit and they sound just as good if not better. IMO

^^ You did something wrong. You probably didn't think it was moving or anything because it was an 18, it's obviously not going to look like it moves as far as a 10 because of the cone size.
