can you run a 4ohm sub at 2 ohms? i just bought 2 4ohm 15" l7's and was wonderin if this is possible.

its a 4 ohm sub. there is no possible way to run a 4 ohm sub at 2 ohms. LOL

Take the + of each sub, wire them together....... and the - of each sub and put them together. Then run the 2 +'s to the + on the amp, and the 2 -'s to the - on the amp. Then your amp will see a 2 ohm load.

chemmins , they don't make a single coil L7. we have no clue what they are. D2 or D4. Can't really tell OP shiz till we know this stuff.

Depends on the number of voice coils. if there are only 1 voice coil on each sub then you can run them in parallel to get to 2 ohms. If there are more than one voice coil it gets more complicated. We can tell you how to wire everything if you tell us what amp you have and how many voice coils your sub has.

yeah im wrong cause the OP asked how to get a 2 ohm load???? yeah sure he has the electrical and amp to back up .5 ohm. and im wrong?? so cause i didnt tell him the .5 or 8ohm im wrong?? please elaborate

if you have 2 subs, then it very well CAN be done.
