    what size subs in an suv?

    i have a 2005 yukon with the third row seat taken out so plenty of space but i was wondering if i should get 2 12s or 2 15s?

    well i listen to a lot of hip hop and some electronica, so would the 12s or the 15s be better? and no im not going any bigger im not trying to rattle my body apart:p

    The size of the driver has nothing to do with how fast the transient response is. Inductance is the primary factor behind transient response. Read this paper here to learn why: http://www.stereointegrity.com/Files/WooferSpeed.pdf

    And FWIW: I'd go with two 15's.

    yeah i probably will, so 15s with 500 rms pushed by a 1000w amp wired to 1 ohm?
