    help me blow these :)

hi I have stock electric, a kenwood KAC-9104d 900w rms at 2ohms, and 2 12" comp kickers 300w rms 2 ohms all together according to the web. I have the subs under 4 year warranty and I want to exchange em and then return for cash within 30 days to buy something better (they fell into my lap for really cheap, kid wrecked his car)

when I try to push my subs my amp goes into protection mode, any tips?

and would a big 3 upgrade help me blow them?

dont be a d-bag trying to cheat someone.

not to mention, most companies will not warranty user error.

Yeah burnt coil is usually not covered under warranty unless the place/shop you got the install from SAYS a no-questions-asked-replacement, but I doubt it.

You amp goes into protection mode because it doesn't like what you're doing to it.

Don't be so mean to him!

Turn the gain as far clockwise as possible. Turn every booster you have up. Be sure to turn down your mids and highs so you don't blow your speakers!

And then turn the volume up. If the amp stops working(like you said it has), then plug the wires into the wall socket. Boom.

These companies want u to fight over who is the best. When honestly there is probably 2 or 3 huge companies that make every single amp on the planet. Wow. This is the reason for many companies getting so hard on warranty. Warranty is not intended as insurance; it is intended to cover manufacturers defects. It is so often abused in car audio as an insurance policy.

How about just selling them subs ?
