boxes for 2 15" subs

i have 2 15", 400 watt, 4 ohm subs, should i go w/ a bandpass box or a sealed box, which would they sound better in?

What kind of subs are they?
Do you want good Sound Quality or SPL (really really loud)?
How much room do you have?
How much money do you want to spend?
Let me know on some of this info and I'll be able to help a little better

depending on the sub go a large sealed and feed it some power...might not "go as loud" but you will know a 25 hz wave and what it does hehe

If those subs are only 400w (peak) then they might not respond to a 25hz wave very well. Can't you tune a bandpass to 25hz anyway...don't get me wrong I think bandpass boxes are just for cheap systems who try to get the most spl they can with no regard to the huge loss of sq.....kinda like in my car...

you can do it we did it to a set of jl 15 w0's and a set of kicker comps....dunno if my set up was to spec of either company but the rta dont lie lol one is still going the other was torn down and the guy bought a stealth so no 15's in there just a single aluma pro alchemy sounds great though

What are you talking about???!!! none of that made since....You did what to those two sets of subs.....got a 25hz wave out of them? I guess done right I could see it....

my old car high point on a rta sound curve was the second lil light from the left during the tests so you tell me lol transfer function is key as well as a good (not great) sub large sealed boxes too
