    Icon32 Speaker Opinion----PLEASE READ!!!

I have a Jeep Cherokee and with really thin doors and I'm concerned that there are a lot of speakers on the market that are to big to fit in them. And I don't really want to buy kick panels. Tell me what you think about these speakers that I think would fit.

Also, please let me know if you have any other suggestions as far as great quality but fairly slender component speakers go. (5 1/4")

    Diamond Audion S500s

    Thanks!!!

    Tucker

well, i'm not sure how you're going to put component speakers in the door... unless you're mounting the tweet up high. anyways, those diamond speakers are incredible!

    just my two cents

Thanks for the input. I've got a place for the tweeters to go. I was mainly concerned about the woofers. Anything in the same price range as those diamonds that you would suggest taking a look at?

    Thanks,

    Tucker

listen to the diamonds and mb too, focal, etc.
look at other posts in this section, and try to listen to the speakes. Keep in mind though that as a general rule tweets and woofers are supposed to be <6in apart...

Yeah, the Diamonds are only 1 7/8" deep. . . I don't think they get much smaller than that. Do you know of any other comp speakers offhand that have a shallow mounting depth and are of the same caliber as the diamonds?

    Thanks

not really...depth isnt an issue for me lol i build out...to me the diamonds are bright but are real nice...i wouldnt think if i got them you could get alot better so dont worry about it...differences in high end are small unless they are way to bright for you....listen to them b4 u buy
