What kind of vehicle?
Offcourse I forget the car lol, It's for my buddies Suburu Outback, wagon hatch. We're also not sure if we should do sub up/port back, or sub back/port back.
bumpo
Have you thought of using a sealed 12"er?
Yea, he'd rather run a ported 10" though
i'm enjoying the diamond d6 10. i have it in 1.1 cubes at 31hz. hits hard, gets low and sounds good with rap or metal.
kicker cvx in 1.5cu tuned at 34...give it 600rms and ull be good to go on a budget

good choices!
thanks guys, what Hz should we tune to for rock?
Also, what about the IA 187?
the port isnt tuned for a specific music style. box tuning should be designed around what the sub does best in, and the cabin gain of your vehicle, if you want to really get technical. i personally like lower tuned ports, but that is strictly for sounding good. it probably wouldn't perform as well in a metered comp.
