@SPLaudio my custom 12" is up and running, but I now have no car to fit it in! Is pretty beast though, almost wish I'd kept the old Mazda just to see what this sub could do! And I get claiming rights as to the first SPLaudio sub in the southern hemisphere I believe. . . .

EDIT: just realised that's actually a photo of the sub before the recone. It would seem I don't have an pics of the sub reconed, and it is currently 500km away.

Could you do a Drop-In for an RE HC motor with a 15" SE basket? with the following: 1" Spacer rings... D 2ohm with 2-3 leads sewn in to spiders.. 8 layer vc... 2-3 spiders... high roll rubber surround dual stitched.. looking for a killer for daily lows and maybe some burps on lows.. take the rms up from 1200 to around 2k ? maybe handle some 4-5k burps... or give me some feed back on what you think might work.. or even if the 15" se basket will work

currently the HC is a 12" ... but ehh... I'm thinking of going bigger and getting away from 12"s

i can make the HC a daily beast but it uses a 4 layer coil. i have built them up before and 4-5k for burps is noooo prob

im getting flooded with questions about reconing DC audio subs about coil sizes. i can fit a 8 layer coil in lvl4,xl,lvl5.

^ never said couldnt do i said i didnt have 10" spiders with leads but do with floating leads, didnt know it had a 9.250" landing too
