until i got ahold of the the tall surronds i use for 10s i could blow any wide surronds on the first burp with 3k. trust me i tried a bunch and it ***** to build a sub and not even get a full burp cause the surronds gave up. some i did fold the cone lol..

^ ok.
the basket is tall and the adapter rear clearance ring i made makes the coil sit down in a lil bit. so i needed the former a lil longer but figured i might as well lock down the cone too. the ring slides into the former by being .0005 smaller
it weighs about as much as a dustcap ,8 grams but is made from 6061 aircraft alum.
