I had 800watt amp and two subs fitted to my escort, the subs and amp fell over in the back and broke just the amp, i now have a 1000 watt amp of the same make (fli), tried to fit it in and the power light comes on then dies down in about 4 seconds, does this mean the battery isn't putting through enough power? even tho it did for the 800watt fli amp and worked fine.

Any info is much apreciated and keep it simple as im dumb cheers lol

Your amp could be going into protection due to an improper wiring connection...or the speaker load is to low for the amp again setting it into protection

pick of ur set up and we can help you better. ur amp and box should be secured make sure ur amp isnt getting vibration...
