RMS on the HCs are 1200, id look for something with more power.

How much room do you have for an enclosure?
RE MT 12"
Orion 2500d
Orion P6.2 components(running off the deck for now, till I can get some $ for an amp)
Thanks go out to: Donald Hebig (dB Don), Shane Christiansen (HCCAfan) and the "Termpro Guys"

Yea man, you going to need more power. Thos subs will take that power, laugh at you, and then make fun of your mother.Originally Posted by Nickfireblazer

Front Door speakers: (2) Dayton Reference RS225 8" woofers
Rear Door speakers: Stock Boston Acoustic speakers (mostly faded out for slight rearfill)

The RMS is NOT a power requirement, and in terms of a daily driver, around 600w per driver in a good ported enclosure will be really nice. I'd say go for it![]()

Its amazing what 600 watts and a good box can do.
I'll drink to that oneOriginally Posted by blackgeltabs

We need some brains in here....first of all your only going to be giving the subs ~300 watts each, why? because each sub is dual 2 ohm, so you can only wire to .5ohm or 2 ohm.
Eclipse CD7000
MTX TA7804
Eclipse SC8365
MTX TA92001
9 Elemental Designs 13Ov.2's (15.5 cu ft ported box)
O/1g All around, 2 Yellow tops, big 3.
Why can't he run it @ .5ohms daily? Several people have done it successfully. As long as he sticks to music(it's not going to be a real SPL machine, though should get plenty loud) he'll be fine thanks to impedence rise![]()

I just ordered a pair of the 15HC's. For that price you really can't beat them. I going to be putting them in my van. It is going to be real loud. I can't wait.
However, I have a question. I never order from RE before I and don't know their policy. Does RE give out tracking numbers? I didn't get one and I forgot to ask them.

Directed 1100d isnt going to take that .5 ohm load in a daily setup even with the impedence spikes. Whats he going to do when hes got 2 HCs? He sure isnt going to leave it on low. Hes gonna turn that b1tch up and see what it REALLY does, thus putting that amp to work.
Kiss that amp goodbye if you try it...

You're gonna have a nice spike above tuning somewhere...it should be able to take .5...given the proper voltage and airflow...
