battle of the SQUARE subs MTX vs SOUNDSTREAM vs.KICKER

I've heard a set up with 4 10" TS85S MTX's and they do fairly good. I hate how the L5's and L7's sound. Look at Hifonics Atlas squares

I didnt notice them sounding any different than a round sub, except a lil better low end extension ported. They sound ****** sealed though

Your observation is that the MTX square subs have more low frequency extension than all round subs?

No, "a round sub" implies a sub with the shape being round, as in all round subs. Either way, his observation seems to be far too general to take seriously.

meh...why do the 5500 series and not the 8500 vs. the l7 compared to the l5?

entry vs entry. i will sell way more 55 and l5 than 85 and l7

well, nothing if the difference is that they're better.

gotta agree that noone here really cares about the low end squares... we want to see a couple kilowatts on the l7 vs the higher end hifonics/mtx/ss offerings.
