    12w3?

    i wanna kno if i could run 500rms to a 12w3....and if that would blow it or it will work with know proble..i tend to use it alot?

    yeah you could just be careful not to go past the void waranty part ..its on the chart that u can get online and should come with the w3 itself...but im pretty sure that you could put 500 rms watts into that sub....the thing is i dont think it will last that long, just turn the gain down and u should be fine

    mechanically, and thermally, the woofer shouldn't have a problem in a sealed box, and will be fine in a ported box, unless you unload it often...

    I had 400+ going into each of the two W6's I set up, and those puppies were thirsty for more. If you want your W3 to last a while, I suggest no more than 400Wrms, and that is pushing it a little.

    I have 2 12w3's and 2 500a2's. They work just fine together, i have had no problems with them at all. In fact they are loud as hell with about 500rms to them.
