Hi guys, I'm here to completely spam the heck out of this site. You ask what is the best, and I just happen to supply a link to the online car audio site I own that is well overpriced and not authorized for many of the brands. I try and place these links so I don't get caught. Well, you got caught. Nice try, but it won't get by me.

I suppose. But I'd like to see people votes disregarding size. By the way, I think rear fill is essentially useless, too. When did anyone ever go to a concert and turn their back on the band so they could hear what they would sound like behind them? Soundstage is upfront!

Re: ID MAX vs. W7 vs. Diamond TDX

As far as capability, W7, ID Max, TDX, in that order.

If you want the most for the money, I'd say ID Max though.

I don't use rear fill...I love my imaging without it...

ID MAX is a little bit cheaper than the Brahma- an ID MAX bought authorized from Sounddomain will run you $340+shipping...a B12 from Adire is $370+shipping...

    Brahma>IDMAX

Hello GSteg it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

Re: ID MAX vs. W7 vs. Diamond TDX

funny how all of you so called experts havent acknowledged that

    a) these are all super woofers at the top of teh market
    b) box quality
    c) amplification eg. 13w7 is dual 1.5 etc.

will show the difference as there is littel between these subs, none is significantly better or worse than the other at everyday listening levels.

i have never heard the TDX personally so cannot make a comment. i have heard the idmax and have to admit it is a great speaker. w7? another excellent super woofer, but worth the cost of 2 idmax's or even 2 si d2's? nope.....

Re: ID MAX vs. W7 vs. Diamond TDX

stfu! you and your little comment is not needed. the guy asked for what we'd get out of the three. I feel the brahma based on the information i've heard from the forum and seen people w/it, that it is probably the best one out of the three. Basically, if it were me, i'd get the brahma... now if the w7 ohm load was different i'd get that (oh wait i already have it). idmax is a very good woofer but like i said brahma can get louder pending on watts install etc.. ... tdx is an ok sub (wasn't all that though) (recently people have been asking about it on this forum - I'm still trying to figure out why)

Re: ID MAX vs. W7 vs. Diamond TDX

w7's are a real turn off to me ... because i know kids who dont know anything and get them just because they have alot of $$ and the guy @ sound advice reccomends them ... not that there is anything wrong with that i guess u just gotta know the people im talking about .... but yeah the w7 is awesome but u cant really go wrong with any of those subs
