I need some feedback on Alpine S series 12". Is about 400 watts rms good for them? They have a 600 watt peak. Please recommend what type of enclosure i should use as well. Thanks!

Another Question: Does fiberfill make a big bass difference?

They are decent subs for the cash. Probably would be a little better to spend the extra couple of bucks and move up to the type-R however.
The Type S 12 should have the following enclosure requirements.
Sealed:1.5ft^3<br />Ported:2.0-2.5ft^3
The power you have will work well.<br />Fiber-fill/poly fill generally does not create much of an audible difference. It is basically used to slow the soundwaves down a little to make it seem as if the sub is in a larger enclosure.
