    my preference

I would Prefer The Image Dynamics IDMAX-D12, Great SQ as well as great SPL. It need minimal space. Smallest can be 0.8 cu ft. to my knowledge. Crisp Sounding in the right box. Great Xmax and delivers far more power than what it take. This sub is somewhat underrated, my brother in law pushed this with a 1200.1, sounded great.

SPL You say - Perhaps a MMats Juggernaut will do the trick for you, but due to your lack of space, perhaps this sub will not fit the criteria. I also like the taste of the Perfects. I really cant recommend alot for you due to the fact that you have minimal space in your ranger.

    Good luck to ya

Could just duct tape them too the roof or hood...........
Or better yet, tie a rope around them and drag them.

shrink them and put them in ur pocket?

make them hold tha sub boxin their lap (not reccomended on dates)

Make ur friends by u another non subbed out evhicle so they have something u can cart their non driving carcasses in.

buy a horse trailor and drive that around witht them in there.

I would definitely go with the Power HX2's or Juggernauts if you're goin for SPL...I have heard Juggernauts do amazing things when installed properly, and they don't take up a whole lot of space, the HX2's take up quite a bit of space, so I'd probably lean away from those if you have the chance...bottom line, MMATS=SPL!!!!

The main thing about the Juggernauts is MMATS=Money!!! I like all the choices though and I have narrowed it down quite a bit. Keep em coming though. I would like to see as many opinions as possible. A special thanks to zane for finding the MMATS stuff for me. It is greatly appreciated. I have never really heard anything other than the Juggernauts. Do other MMATS subs hit hard and clean. Also does anyone know if DD makes a 10 inch sub?

Zane. I went to Adire's web site, and I can't find the spec's on them or where to order them. I have found a great L7 on ebay for cheap and the enclosure is for a 98 Ranger, it ends in 25 minutes. I am probably going to get it. I have never had a Kicker Product before, and I am going to give it a spin If I don't like it, I can always get a pair of Shivas for cheap. I you have any more opinions, send em quick!!!

I am now the proud owner of a 2002 Kicker L7 in a custom 98 Ranger Box. I am still open to opinions though.

What size box did you get? I like the L7s just that for them to perform really well as they should they require a huge enclsoure but still be pretty tight sounding in a smaller sealed enlosure I have seen 2 10 L5s in that back of a reg cab s10 and it hit darn good I think ge hit like 141 and that was underpowered but was installed awsome though got the pics on here somwhere will find em and post em.

I'll try to post pics, but it will be 3 weeks before I get it. I think the box is like 1.3 Cubic feet.
