    8-inch W0

OK, all my friends tell me that I have a pretty weak system, and I know that it is, but I am just curious. I have two JL 8 inch W0's, and they are both ran by a 200 Watt crossfire amp. That is in the cab of an extended cab F-150. Anybody have any idea what SPL that would be, or to weak to even bother....

ok, I am selling the truck. Anybody have any ideas what one 13W7 will hit with the JL 1000/1 amp in a Range Rover?

It will hit pretty **** hard and precise. A bit expensive if you ask me. Good equipment but pricey. Many other cost efficient routes to take besides JL...

What would be the more cost effective alternative. I want something that is about that loud, but I can't seem to find anything I like. I just chose the W7 because the only retailer around here sells JL.

Get 2 magnum D2 12" subs with a tsunami 1800T and port em to 30 HZ. you should be near 150 DB and the sounds quality would be amazing. Plus itd be only 600 shipped for the subs and 350 for the amp, after install and the box it should only cost about 1200-1400 total, which istn abd for how loud it will be

what is up with the magnum d2. I have never heard of that to tell you the truth. would you recommend 2 of the 12's over the 13W7 for durability?

if you have the money, do the 13w7... save some room, and IMO its the best sql sub around... period.... if your on a tighter buget, then d2s would be a decient option...

As an X-owner of a 13W7 and a listener of several D2's, you are very wrong. My friend had a D2 with 1100 watts and I had a 13W7 with 1000 watts, and the sound quality of the D2 was better, the 13W7 barely had an SPl advantgae if it even had one. Two D2's would beat the **** out of the 13W7, case closed. The only advantage to the 13W7 is it goes deeper, but not by much. Get the D2's and dont listen to this *****

of course man. They willl own it in SPL and sound as good as it. PLUS ur getting 2 subs for STILL less than the w7 will cost u. Also the 1000/1 is a rip off as well. For example that amp willl cost u around 800 bucks depending on what kinda deal u get from the seller, my amp puts out more watts than the JL and costed me 275 bucks shipped. Just something to think about. There are amps that are mine even and put out more watts for around that price too, cough HIFONICS cough

    Re: 8-inch W0

ok, what about two 12 inch W6v2's. I had not really considered those, but would they be a good alternative, or would the D2's beat them. Where can I even buy the D2's. What amp would you recommend to run to each kind of sub
