    12" XXX vs 15" XXX

How much of a difference would they be??
Its about 2.8 SPL 1W/1M differece between the two.

I'm actually getting to the point to where I want to order my subs. It will either be 2 15's sealed to 2 12's ported. Which will be better sq/spl wise?? I will run 2 hifonics 1500d's to them

    Thanks again guys!!!

Re: 12" XXX vs 15" XXX

    Hey Fire,

IMO the dual 12's ported with a good size box with an SQ biased port would kick arse, the 15s are a lot more cone surface area, but I would rather take the 12s ported, but you might have to be a little creative on the box design if your doing it for the show car, but its really up to you, the 15s are hella loud, but so are the 12s and if your not going to do stereo competitions the SPL differnce is going to be very close, good luck and if you haev more questions you know where to find me

Re: 12" XXX vs 15" XXX

Yeah sealed the 15's would get hella low.... But to my understanding with the XBL^2 technology every size gets hella low.....

Re: 12" XXX vs 15" XXX

Is that true that with the XBL^2 technowledgy makes all the sub sizes go just as low. I was gonna get 1 15, but now thinking maybe 2 10s if thye go just as low. Does anyone know the price of a 10inch xxx, cuz i dont feel like calling re again.

And i am going more fro sound quality, but still wanna go real loud.
