Whats the best 12" Subwoofer for Quality?

I was thinking about getting the Infinity Perfect 12.1, but it only goes up to 350 WRMS and I was looking for 500WRMS Subs. What do you guys recommend? I am looking for Sound Quality more than SPL.

Eclipse Aluminums are very nice, I second the Crystal CMP, and look into the Nakamichis and focals

yeah i guess i worded that wrong. I meant he wants a sub that will do well wiht 500 watts. not something that needs more watts than 500 to get moving.

i saw the w7 mentioned above...hands down the most vicious sub on the market. the only downside is that u need 1000 watts per sub to make them really move. if u want to run 500 watts, go with a w6. i think JL makes a very high quality and reliable sub, eclipses and infinities are a nice choice also. peace

the ONLY downside is that it's power hungry?

well it's actually NOT all that power hungry. it can move pretty well with 600 watts.

the biggest downside is easily the price, however...

they are all more so directed at SQ, but on the higher $$$ end

which arc are you looking at? the KAR or the Arc-series? the arc series are made by image dynamics and the KAR-series, not sure. i doubt it was built in america though.

the arc-series are not that expensive at all. the 12" i think can be had for about $280 or less. most likely it is. the Kar series are much cheaper.
