    Regular sub mounting vs. inverted

What is the differences in sound performance between having your subs mounted normally and having them inverted in a fiberglass enclosure?

Re: Regular sub mounting vs. inverted

I remember seeing people mounting there subs inverted about ten years ago.

I don't see people doing it any more, maybe for good reason..

just like the fact that I don't see bandpass boxes anymore either.

There is no good reason ...

You shouldn't be able to notice a difference, if you do it will be very minor. By inverting, you'll gain your .1 or whatever your dirvers displacement happens to be. Remember to reverse the polarity. Aesthetics mainly.

Ah, the pleasures of a simple search.
