I see these 8" IB's and I saw team psi....I just want to know if there a difference in sound....I know the setup is different but are the IB just meant for SQ or actually being loud....? Thanks for the info....

I believe one of the major differences is that you are able to achieive maximum excursion with very little power.
There are quite a few benefits to an IB sub. Yes, it requires less power to reach a given excursion. This means less thermal compression and also less current applied to the driver. Less current lowers non-linear distortion due to Le(i) also known as flux modulation. You also have no compression of the air in an enclosure and no box walls to resonate.
