Box and power for a PG ti.. need advice guys...

Hi guys, I was going to buy 2 PG ti 12" and a rub 1000, but suddenly my girlfriend invite me to chicago for new year´s eve, so this is something I can´t pass.. so...

my bugdet is now reduced for just 1 12" and amp....

so what would be a good amp? the sub is 500 rms so what do you think... maybe I can port the sub if i can get enough directions of how to do it......




PS. I used to have a type R with 450 rms with no prob at all, is this sub like this, can I send 600 rms without problems?

Well, now the box, I download winisd and put the numbers, and came with this... is the first time I use it so a second check up would be aprecciated....

20x15x15= 1.95117ft3 - 0.015ft3 sub volume= 1.8ft3 tuned to 26hz
vent diameter 13.5x0.5in
vent length 7.76in=19.8cm

20x15x13=1.6621 - 0.015ft3 sub volume= 1.51ft3 tuned to 30hz
vent diameter 13.5x0.5in
vent length 6.81in=17.3cm

what's the diference with those two, the one you recomend and the one winisd does... which one will suit better with almost 600watts rms on the sub???

Well, I have the new WinISD Pro, so it recommends 5 different enclosures for ported applications (Quasi-butterworth, Super Boombox, Chebyshev, Extended Bass Shelf -3 dB, Extended Bass Shelf -6 dB). Quasi-butterworth and Chebyshev were basically the same (1.9 ft^3 tuned to 26 Hz), Super Boombox was 1.3 ft^3 tuned to 27 Hz, and Extended Bass Shelf -3 dB was 3.2 ft^3 tuned to 19.5 Hz (EBS -6 was 3.4 ft^3 tuned to 16.5 Hz)

Also, 13.5" x 0.5" port ? That isn't going to work ... I recommend 20+ square inches of port area for any of the applications ... (13.5" x 1.5" would work)

I really don´t know much (or anything) about ported boxes, so I am going to ask you If you can help me with the port size (I would understand if you can´t because of school or work, etc..) I really trust your criteria because You have been in the forums for more than a year, and since the beggining I have seen you know your ****.
