    Dual 15a Enclosure

Its 17 tall, 18 deep, 35 wide.....but the port looks a little strange...will this work or will there be a lot of port noise and wont sound as sharp? The port is 27 inches total tuned to 30 hz, and it is very close to the edge of the subwoofer also, will this affect anything? thanks for the help!

Ok, nevermind, answer your opinion on this though for all of you experienced with boxes. Would a 2.5" wide slot port be too small for a dual 15A enclosure thats 4.2 cubes after port displacement? The port would be 15.5" tall, 25" long, and 2.5" wide and would be either on the left or right side of both subs, tuned to 28 HZ. This works out mathematically but is this port too small to have minimal port noise?

    Re: Dual 15a Enclosure

It'll depend on what kind of power you're sending to the subs too.

Learn to work with WINISD Pro and you can answer your own question. Personally, I feel 20 sq. Ft. of port area might be a tad small.

    Re: Dual 15a Enclosure

Im sending 1800 to both, 900 RMS to each for those of you who cant do math. I cant make the box 36" wide cause I dont have room, 35" is the max. I reworked some things and I can make the port 16" by 2.5" by 25.5" with a total box area of 5.15 cubes, but 4.3 after port displacement. Goes this port stil sound too small or should it be alright?
