Are these subs really worth it?

I wan't to but two 12" Sony P5 subs and i want to know if they are worth buying or not. I have two Pioneer 10" IMPP subs hooked up to a 1000watt Sony Xplod amp and i want to know if the sonys will sound better hooked up to that same amp. Let me know what yall think.

No. To put it bluntly. Sony is a rotten rotten sub and amp for that matter, but stay with the setup you already have. Pioneer is far superior to Sony. Do you have extra money to play around with???

The Sony will sound different because its a different size sub, but IMO the Pioneer sub is better. Why not get a pair of 12" Pioneers?

Pionner vs Sony...hands down I give it to Pioneer...at least they have sound quality

I used to spend a lot of my free time here. It was fun I suppose. Still rocking the 9515 and Better Audio amp haha.

For the price of those Sony's you could probably almost get 2 shivas instead

Re: Are these subs really worth it?

I have pioneer subs and a sony amp bought to directly match each other is rms. And the sony doesn't push the subs to there rating so Id say pioneer is better than sony.

Re: Are these subs really worth it?

    Why sony or pioneer?

There is so much out there that is much better and relatively cheap. If you are going to spend the money get something that is going to sound good.
