Icon33 Best bang for the buck Sub setup!!!! Helo me decide!

Best bang for the buck sub setup! SPL 60% SQ 40% (roughly)! Will be ran off a RF 1050S 525X 2 @ 2 ohms 1050X1 @ 4 ohms

    2 - RE SE 12's 169 x 2 + Shipping
    1 - RE HC 15 279 + Shipping
1 - RE XXX 12 369 + Shipping ( a little out of my range but can save up a little longer if worth it)
    1 - Brahma Mark 1 12 310+ shipping (30$)
    1 - Brahma Mark 1 15 310+ shipping (32$)
    1 - ED e12a 295 + Shipping
    1 - ED e15a 315 + shipping
    1 - Stereo Integrity Magnum D2 270+ shipping
4 - Infinity Kappa 120.3SE (around 300 + shipping) I know this one is way off of the others but think a 4 sub setup would be cool and dont know of many subs with the Kappa specs i can pick up to that cheap!
Which setup would be best with that amp in custom sealed enclosure. Space is no issue (got plent to work with!)

My choice would be between the 2 12" se's, or the magnum d2. Either would be great! Drop the se's in about 2-3 cubes each ported @30hz and they'll wang...or the magnum in bout 2-3 cubes ported @30hz. Those would be my two choices, depends on if i want 2 subs or 1 sub. peace

p.s. make sure se's are dual 4ohm if u get them

I am not opposed to going ported but dont have much experience building ported enclosures (not that i dont think i could do it as i am a very skilled carpenter!) But just really have never tried a ported box i just know i like SQ as well as SPL and alway heard to stay away from ported in situations where any SQ is desired....Is this true or should i give ported a whirl...I am not opposed to trying it out! If it would be worth while!!:thumbs_up

then u can for sure do it. Its so easy just get someone on here to give u dimensions. That being said i would go SE's all the way! iff not then the A or d2 would be awesome as well.

either the XXX, A, D2, or the Brahma are all just about the same. I like the 4 sub setup idea, also like the 2 Se idea. Any of those would work, I would go with either the XXX or the Se.

i would go wit the 2 12SE setup, cuz thats wha i'll be running soon. i have 1 hooked up and its loud for 1 sub, louder then my ol 2 12 MTX4000s. i cant even imagine wha it will be like when i add the otha and more power. look out streets of chi-town and southern and nothern burbs.

2 x 12" SE will have the most output. The 2003 Subs have suprisingly good SQ as well.

If you think that one Magnum (although a very nice sub) will out-do a pair of SE series drivers of the same size...you are as wacky as they come!

    hehe
