Looks very similar to the new Blaupunkt sub. Called the Saucer Subwoofer

It looks a little different but very similar. The artical reads:

"The Overdrive subwoofers require roughly half the mounting depth of conventional subs.
Now you can install a full power 12-inch speaker in the door or under seat. We heard these
