    8W7 anyone with experience!

I was jsut wonder who has heard the 8 W7 and what their thoughts are about it? ITs an 8 does it get down or is it just really punchy? Obviously if i tuned it low enough it would get down but is it worth it or should i just get a single 12. Thanks.

my next sub will be an 8 or 10w7. they do hit hard, but the smaller ones obviously dont go as low. they do however go pretty low for their size.

    Re: 8W7 anyone with experience!

I have 3 10W0's right now and its plenty loud, i just want to know there is a low end there, and i figured the 8W7 would fill that need and not take up too much space. I don't need it as loud as the 3 10's bucause i just don't listen to my music that loud anymore. So do you think the 8W7 would fit my bill? Or should i get a single 12 or maybe multiple 8's that don't cost as much. Thanks.

I can see the 1 12 idea, i like the wow factor of the single 8in sub though. I want my new setup to be light, efficent and not oferpowering. I have a JL 500/1 to power it. Whats a great sub, that needs a small box and can handle 500 watts or around there. Again i don't really crank my system anymore, just like to listen to it now.

or, u could also consider an e8a! i have one for sale, mint condition...it gets LOUD and is amazingly accurate! comes with a .3 cube sealed box that i made of 3/4" mdf...$170 and will def. compare or rival the 8w7. peace
