    Are there really any better sub's out there for the money Premier SPL

    I was just looking around at what is available in the most bang for ur buck
    and the Premier TS-W3002D4 Seems to be in that category

    They're not bad woofers by any means, but yes there are other woofers in their category/price range that will probably outdo them.

    What are your goals, how much power are you wanting to run, and how much space do you have?

    They're actually pretty good, and get loud. A Type R is louder though, but the Pio gets lower and sounds better to me.

    i think hes just asking what is the best bang for the buck period. if there are subs in the 150shipped range ta\hat are better then name them.

    Well I had 4 15in lvl-3 dc sound lab sub in my fullsize ext cab gmc around December, then I sold that. Now I have 1 Kicker solo x 10 im trying to sell... I think i want to run 2 12in sub again not sure what kind though. And iv looked at these Premier SPL before, Im running a Hifonics BXi2608D right now
    I dont really want to take my back seat out again, My goals are to be louder than the next guy at the parking lot... lol

    these were the first subs I got a while ago.. They were pretty loud even in a prefab. box lol and could take a beating

    The only thing about the type r subs that has kept me from buying them before was that surround and the way it's made. I had two Memphis m class 10's and both of those
    sub surround broke. And there made similar to the type r's... Has anybody had problems
    like this out of the Alpine ? It might just be my imagination...

    those surrounds are pretty durable and ive never seen one broken

    The Type R surround is really thick rubber.... I wouldnt worry about that breaking

    Well just say I bought 2 of these type r 15's What size cubic ft ported box would i need to build, I just trying to see how much room it will take up...

    i would do 1 15" R in like 3.2cuft@33hz on 1krms if not more....

    so like 6.5cuft @ 33hz for two of them.
