I know they have some info on their website, www.alpine1.com. Click on the sub you want and when the page comes up for it, click on the "more information" link and it'll bring some t/s info up.

Re: Alpine Type-R SWR-1241D Sub info

Ok so i have some questions.First the subs are 12's meaning the outside ring of the subs across is 12 inches right?Next what kind of box should i make?I was thinking of doing a ported or vented box will that do?or should i got with a sealed box since the dimensions of my trunk are 37 width, height 19.5,deepth 32.Please make some suggestions. Also keep in mind the box will have an odd shape and the front face will be made of fiberglass. Also what does this mean "3.5ft^5" I'm new to all this can someone please explain this to me?thanks for all the help guys. Also with the box volume what woudl happen if i didnt have enough voulme in the box?and what would happen if i had more voulme then needed?and how exact do i have to be on my box volume and does it matter?
