Looking for a 15" sub. I had a box built for a 15" type r but i cant really find any for a decent price.. so any brands that are good sq and can pound please post..
also, I was checking out re subs and the se 15" and sx 15" look good.. no idea what they are rated rms wise or how expensive they are.. i was looking to buy sumthing around 200$ (used or new)

SX is rated at 1k rms, if I'm not mistaken. SPL oriented woofers.
I have a used RD Sonance for sale also, if that's something that interests you. It does plenty and sounds great :-)

also aluminum vc vs. copper vc? how much difference?

If you're thinking about getting the HDC3, with the AQ 1200D you said you have, get the copper coils. I have the same thing and to be honest, the sub wants more, you'll have to throw around 1500-2000 watts to make it happy
Aluminum coils can take up to 3000 watts.
With that amp, get the RE SX if you want more SPL than SQ. I've heard a lot of good things about the SSA Icon for SQ btw.
