    subs for rockford amp

I have a rockford fosgate amp 1500bd model. I need better subs for it. I had mickey shorrs install it. They told me the subs I have would not handle the power so they adjusted the gain on amp to minimum so I wouldin blow them up. the subs are mtx audio. dont remember the watts the subs can handle. any info would be great

    thanks linkin

well I brought the amp from mickey shorrs.( I should of explain myself better sorry). It bumps pretty good but I know it can be much better. the (rms) measured at 14.4 volts 4 ohm load mono 750 x 1 and 2 ohm load mono 1500 x 1. This I read in manual.
basicly I have one life so I don't mine losing my hearing. I want some subs that really pound good.

    thanks linkin

Yes I care about sound quality. I guess what I trying to say is I want deeper bass. no budget. I got some info from my sales man about a orion sub call the h2 soppose to handle 2000 watts (rms)He said one would do fine in a box. But I havn't made up my mine yet. Want some other opinions. Yes I am newbie here. as you can tell.
I want to upgrade sub (subs)
then I want to upgrade factory speakers 6x9's in back and the door speakers too.

    thanks linkin
