Street C Class - A maximum of 2 subwoofer amplifiers (or 4 externally bridged monoblock amplifiers) may be used. A maximum TOTAL of 4 electrical conductors may be used to connect the amplifier(s) to the woofer(s).

    * One 18-inch woofer
    * OR a maximum of two 15-inch woofers
    * OR a maximum of four 12-inch woofers
    * OR a maximum of six 10-inch woofers
    * OR a maximum of eight 8-inch woofers

    Re: mid 150s

    they gave me differ rules
    CLASS A: two 8"/one 10"

    CLASS B: three 8"/two 10"/one 12"

    CLASS C: five 8"/three 10"/two 12"/one 15"/one 18"

    CLASS D: seven 8"/four 10"/three 12"/two 15"

    CLASS E/Pro: unlimited

This is a VERY general breakdown of the system we use. This is also only for round subwoofers, square drivers are classified differently. Here's the link to ACTUAL classifications used for the last comp that was held earlier this month- http://www.hawaiicaraudio.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=958

    Re: mid 150s

For the classes you have listed I would opt for 3 10's or 2 12's. There are plenty of beefy 10's and 12's that will handle 2-3k ea and that is what you need to to be competitive. I would use at least 2 GP3000's to start if not buy more powerfull amps.

I suggest looking at the Audioque products, best bang for the buck IMHO. Use the HD drivers with Aluminum coils and a pair of 3500d's and you should bring home plenty of trophies.

If your after wow factor than use 6's or 4's or 6x9's for that matter. Your original post asks for suggestions for competing ina specific class. In a Trailblazer your going to need 10's or 12's and a great design.

    Re: mid 150s

I would do the 2 12s with those class specifics myself

Depending on where they meter you should be able to get a 49-50 at the dash with some power

    I did 148 legal with my 2 12 Type Rs and a 200.1
