JL w6v2 Vs. Alpine Type R's

What Would be a Better Sub, for SQ and a little Thump, i know the JL are 400 RMS and the R's are 300 But The JL are also 600 and the R's only 350, so what im asking is, are the JL really worth the Extra Money, Thanks!-Rick-

    -also-
What Would be a good amp to get for them

    ( both 12's)

W6V2. ive heard both, and SQ and SPL goes to the W6V2. very accurate bass in sealed enclosures, and it still gets plenty loud for daily driving. my friend is sending his 12 600 watts with no problems in 1.6ft^3.

whether or not its worth the extra money...thats up to you. its a better sub no question. if i had the money then id definitely go for it.

If you have the $$, go for the W6V2. As nate said, they're da*n good subs. But the Type R's are no slouch themselves...you should check out some local shops and try to hear both of them before making a decision.

yea and for the prices that type-Rs go for on ebay...its a tough choice. you can get numerous type-Rs from ebay for the price of 1 W6V2.

yea you need to look somewhere else...online you will find both subs cheaper.

but if you have 600 to spend.....id go with something like an RE HC or an eD a because you can run those with less power but still get good sound.

w6, v1 or 2, no competition. v2 is similar to a small w7, just takes less power
