The Adire Audio Shiva is a great sub for an even better price. You can find them for $125 and it outperforms many subs costing a lot more.

i have heard that they are sq but can get really loud to.I say you should go with a 12" L7 cause in my opinion the best sub for under 200
here's my 3 cents
Polk GNX 12", $160 for two. On sale now at crutchfield and circuit city. Handle 175rms and I have been more than happy with mine. More SQ than SPL but still hit good.

supposedly they have a compression issue after around 400 watts, so they won't get much louder at all after that....so if you go with them you only need around 400watts to reach its potential (box type and size does play in here though too but typically speaking it reaches its max output around 400)
