    Alpine Type R and Amp?

Ok, I found a Type R SWR-1241D w/ 12" Type-R Compound Reflex Subwoofer Box (http://www.alpine-usa.com/html/D2_n_1_n_n.html) For $220. The guy I am buying from says "IT IS A DUAL 4 OHM WOOFER THAT CAN BE WIRED FOR A 2 OHM LOAD" is this true? also, what amp would you suggest running one of these with?

    1 cubic foot=1728 cubic inches

your box is 5568.75 cubic inches

    5568.75/1728=3.22265625
