amp to power two 12'' dual voice coil alpine type r swr-1241D

i was wondering if an mtx thunder 8302 2 channel amp that outputs 212watts rms x2 at 2 ohms would power my two alpine swr-1242D type r 12's and have them hit hard... the rms on the subs are 100-300 watts rms and 1000 watt peak..thanks for ur help

i have a profile 600sx which gave the subs 225 rms each pretty **** sweet! they looked a little power hungry though.

I have 4 Type-r's on a MTX81000d. I wouldnt call them power hungry at all compared to other subs they are not power hungry at all as long as u but 250-400 to them that should do the trick. Check out my setup http://www.sounddomain.com/id/squosh

thats probably because they're seen about 400rms each from that mtx.

Ight i still say 400 isnt to power hungry compared to other subs but i guess they are if u throw more power to them cuz they can handle it
