SE instead of HC

Thinking of selling my HC to save up for some SEs. The HC is a great sub don't get me wrong but I want two subs now and two HCs requires too much power.

Anyone know how the SEs perform in 3 cu ft boxes? The 12's that is.

Ported.

Each in its own 1"MDF ported box tuned to 47 hz. Comp purposes.

1.5 ported is pretty small, but i suppose its possible. They sound good ported or sealed. I'de say if you can go at least 4 cu ft...
