I have it sitting on my back seat of my checy extended cab truck. If I get two 4ohm subs 10" or 12" what is a good sub that is high in quality but low in price? The two 4ohm subs would draw more power from my amp than the 8 ohm Jl right? Thus it should be louder right? Im going to try to make a custom box to put under my back seat. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
only heard shiva in action though...
you could build a louder box, instead of having ot buy new stuff, if budget is the problem.
Since you already have a JL sub, get another one to make it a pair. It might be cheaper than having to buy two new subs. JL subs are good, just that they are expensive.
a custom box under the rear seat would meant he box cannot be too large. THat's not good news for SPL.. I think the larger the box, the more ptotential there is to become louder.
