    Rockford vs. Kicker

I am putting subs in my 2007 F150.
I can't decide between Rockford Fosgate P3 12 inch. or Kicker CVT 12 inch.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks for any help.

    Re: Rockford vs. Kicker

For a shallower mount sub, you may want to look at the RE RE's or the Image Dynamics IDs or even if the the voice coil isn't a problem look into the Dayton HO's from partexpress.com

Probably all better options than the 2 mentioned, although I have heard people have good luck with the CVTs

Image ID's need at least 6" mouting depth.
    CVT 12" is 4 15/16ths

P3, but the CVT is still a great shallowmount sub

I'm still not sure why he's comparing a shallow mount sub to a normal size one....

    Re: Rockford vs. Kicker

He's prolly not looking for a shallow-mount, specifically. He made no mention of needing a shallow sub, to begin with.

These are, most likely, two names he's familiar with... nothing more.

In that case I would take a CVX over a CVT.
