Looking for a good 12"

There's so much going around right now it's hard to pick and choose since i'm really not a guru when it comes to audio. But anyways I have a 97 Prelude and I would like to replace my Alpine Type R's with a single 12" (maybe even 15) that is good in small enclosures (prolly ~2cuft or so in my trunk i'm wanting to use) and can get hella loud. (SQ is a bonus). Price doesn't matter.

Edit: Forgot to add it's going in a sealed box and if its a ****** sub will I need more than 1 cap.

Thanks for the link to the search! If I didn't want your opinion I wouldn't of asked for it And yes i'll need the amp to push the sub. I'm looking towards a 1200+ watt sub (xxx and brahma are lookin nice) and of course a grand daddy amp to push them.

what is your price limit man people around here can definetly help ya out. the XXX isn't really a small box woofer unless your going sealed then it is awesome! the brahma is a fantastic woofer and also look at the Elemental Designs A sereis 12" as said before. 2cuft ported to 28-32hz with 1200watts to it and oh man hold on to your seat!

theirs alot to choose from... what kind of price range.. i know u said price isnt a factor.. bt im sure it is.. if it not a factor then just go by a Kicker solo X for about 1800 and get the JBL 6000....what is it.. 6000$....BTW.. what part of GA r u from?

ok i think he meant price isnt a factor without being extreme about it.

i would get a W7 and a JL 1000/1

lol not going to extreme's huh?? 2 grand for a sub and amp combo is a lot IMO. oh that JBL is a crappy amp IMO, saw one last week at a shop down in San Antonio and it's THD is outrageous from what i've been told. I'll take a zapco c2k 4kw instead plue their cheaper.

how is a W7 and a 1000/1 2 grand?

JBL 6000? never heard of it, is it 6000 watts?

retail if you were talking about the 12w7 is what 800 and the amp is around 1000-1200 so about 2 grand unless i can't add. yes i know you can get it on ebay blah blah i was stating MSRP which many people go by.

Price range is definately not over 2000 I Can afford it but i'd rather get my motor finished before I spend too much on a stereo I might miss out on a 50hp upgrade or something lol.

About sealed boxes. They are preferred, but only cause I don't know **** about tuning a ported box
