Port the buggers!!! You will be blown away.

    30-35HZ = good everyday listening
    35-50HZ = good SPL

rough numbers, give or take a few each way... Give them about 2 cubes each ported. Should be plenty, still maintain SQ but get a heck of a lot of SPL.

I was trying to keep it somewhat feasable. Even a total of 8 cubes is pretty frickin' big. The 3 to 4 cubes would be even better. yeah, listen to him, he knows what he's talkin about!:p

Cubic feet, thats how boxes are measured...

Length x width x height, will be inches^3...so you divide that # by 1728, which is the equivalent of 1 cubic foot in inches, and that will give you how big your box is(in feet^3, or course)

cubes = cubic foot. and that is the total amount of airspace in the box. when they say 2 cubes, it is like saying 2 cubic feet of airspace..

and, if you have room go ported on your box, and if not, well.. go sealed.

    goodluck

    Definately Slot

Go slot ported, you can build it outta the box itself and tune it accordingly to what you want. I've always been a fan of slot ported boxes because they dont have any port noise and even if they did you could round off the edges. Can go wrong with ported.
