    Icon32 Alpine 12" Type R vs. JL 12W3 v2

I know you guys have seen this thread a lot but I was just wanting some opinions. Personally I think that the Type R's have just a little bit more SQ when in a ported box. I've heard both subs in the same box running off of the same power and the Type R's sounded better to me. Although I think the JL 12's put out a little more SPL. I really think that both of these subs are great and that both are underated. Whats your opinion?

type r's have great sql IMO. i think that they jl's are mostly sq subs. but as far as spl i'd give it to alpine.

Its really a toss up, whatever sounds better to you. I perfer the JL's but the R's are great subs.
