    Lots of louder subs
SQ is subjective, so it depends on the person.

Is this not a reasonable place to park?

This is arguable. Beyond Brahma, it's almost all opinion/amount of money you want to spend.

For SQ, just get me a Velodyne:p

Can't seem to find any place where they sell it...

Most SQ winners here in Korea use a Velodyne... the cone itself oozes quality...but with the prices here..huh, fat chance...

They happen to be extremely expensive subwoofers that sound amazingly good. They are used in home audio for the most part because of their $1000+ price tag. Go to http://www.velodyne.com/ for more info.

All I'm willing to say is that the Brahma is still being experimented with SPL wise, but for SQ, it is among the best in it's price range ($300-$500) with the IDMax being it's only close competitor.

For pure SQ quality, I would buy a B&W home audio sub, rip it out of it's box and put into use in my truck. That thing is amazing and no one has tried it yet.

i've heard b&w subs, they're nice sounding subs... but still dont compare to velodyne but b&w does have a nice design on all their floor standing, surround, and center channel speakers... but as far as bass goes, i'm sticking to my velodyne
